Summary Statement:
Applies advanced technical skills and knowledge in the performance of inspection and evaluation of incoming aerostructure parts, components and subsystems of operational aircraft for overhaul and/or repair through interpretation of original equipment manufacturer technical data and Company technical data to ensure compliance to FAA regulations and customer requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provides complete evaluation of and defines the processes for reconditioning, repair or replacement of aerostructure parts, components and subsystems of operational aircraft that are varied but generally not complex of products and processes requiring some skill and experience.
Requirements Formal Education, Training and Work Experience:
Minimum 5-10 years industry transferable experience / skills along with A&P license (preferred)
Experience may be substituted for the formal education and training requirements in this section at the discretion of management. High School graduate with technical school related to aircraft or manufacturing processes preferred, and a minimum of four (4) years of experience as an aerostructure mechanic, aerostructure inspector or evaluator, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
