What are you going to do?
You are together with the team responsible for the quality of the end product by testing the F135 engine from the F35 jet fighter.
All tasks surrounding the test cell, dress, undress and engine operational test. Additionally, you are responsible for the (diss) assembly and inspection of the modules into testable engines. Together with the team you will reassure the test cell and equipment’s condition will remains healthy thru monitoring and execution of all required maintenance.
You will execute the engine (diss) assembly, inspection and test in accordance with the technical requirement, schedules with the highest quality so that the set goals are achieved.
Besides the tasks mentioned above, you have extensive troubleshooting/problem solving skills for the engine as well as the test cell and test cell equipment. You will be able to assess the test results and on basis of this assessment determine the engine status.
You will work in a close multi-disciplinary environment and have a flexible and pro-active attitude. The role requires someone highly organized and confident in their ability to adequately respond to different scenarios. As the test cell environment is a challenging environment where engines are being tested safe working and environmental conscious are the first priority for you.
Who are you?
You are already employed by StandardAero or have experience in the position of (gas turbine) Test Cell Operator. After a training period, you will be able to work independently perform the tasks and set priorities.
