Position Responsibilities
* Performs a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. Basic Qualifications(Required Skills/Experience)
*Associate of Engineering or applicable associate Science Degree
*Airframe & Powerplant Certification
*4 years at one location where the employee is going to get information more in-depth
*Previous experience in a Fabrication role
*Preferred IPC-A-610, IPC 620 and IPC J-STD-001 CertificationsJob Duties
*Constructs, troubleshoots, calibrates, adjusts, tests, diagnoses, and maintains equipment, components, devices, or systems.
*Works from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions.
*Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
*Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
*Should be comfortable fabricating complex electronics with small tolerances and Quality Inspection throughout the fabrication process.
*Preferred experience with Military Specification parts and ability to reference all required tooling for class 3 Electronics Fabrication. Desired Skills
*Experience with Hand Held Multi-meter
*Experience with Oscilloscope
*Experience with Benchtop power supplies
*Experience with Hand-crimping tools
*Preferred experienced technicians who have performed work in an engineering environment or extensive fabrication for production.
