Time & Attendance Advisor; Preston; 12-month contract; 13.53ph PAYE; 37 hours per week; Inside IR35

We currently have an opportunity for a Time & Attendance Advisor working on a hybrid basis to join the Time & Attendance team. When working on site, with our client the primary office will be Channel Way in Preston. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, dealing with queries of varying complexity across multiple business areas. A key requirement of the role is to gain knowledge of a number of IT systems to enable you to perform your role effectively.

We are looking for individuals with a continuous improvement mind-set, who are effective communicators and actively take initiative and ownership of their own workload. You will be able to communicate in an articulate, concise and informative manner.

As a Time & Attendance Advisor your main responsibilities will involve:

Proactively seeking resolutions to queries in order to exceed employees’ expectations and to provide confidence in our service

Ability to manage volumes whilst maintaining accuracy and quality of work

Managing your own workload to ensure personal and team targets are met in line with SLA

Assisting in the review, development and implementation of working procedures including updating internal work instructions to a high standard

Having a continuous improvement mind-set to identify opportunities to improve team processes, to enable us to offer an excellent service

As a Time & Attendance Advisor your skills and experience will include:

Excellent time management skills

Ability to present yourself professionally in a fast-paced business facing environment

Working effectively as an individual and as part of a team

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Use of bespoke IT tools and systems e.g. query management tools such as ServiceNow (desirable)

Knowledge of the Workforce Manager application or other Time & Attendance systems (desirable)

You will be highly motivated with the ability to quickly digest and apply new concepts and develop novel solutions to challenging problems. We are looking for individuals who demonstrate a flexible, positive attitude.
You will have the ability to work effectively independently as well as in a team, with strong analysis and problem-solving skills. A willingness to learn is essential.
