Tool development for Ground Stability checks

Job Description:

Department: Flight Physics
 

Proposal is to prepare a tool which will have all stability charts to ensure the end customer is using the most updated reference and will provide provision to add or remove components for a given initial condition of aircraft.

The tool must be enable the end users to add or remove item list will be limited to components given in WBM chapter and for internal users a special field will be given to add or remove items outside of WBM list.

The tool must also have an automatic report generation feature

Main activities:
1. Understand how Stability checks are done
2. Define the inputs, process and output structure
3. Automate this process by developing a tool which requires minimal human intervention and which is easy to maintain and understand
4. Visualize the outputs in easy to comprehend manner
5. Validation of new tool against existing method
Skills:
1. Good appreciation of mechanical design (Must have)
2. Experience in Google Sheets, Google Apps Script and/or Python (Must have) 3. Experience with Python libraries would be an added advantage (Good to have)
Specialization/Stream: Candidate with mechanical/aerospace engineering background with good hands-on experience on Google Sheets, Google Apps Script and good coding experience in Python.
Duration of Internship: 3 months
