Position Summary
The incumbent fulfills manufacturing and supplementary processes to produce and deliver a variety of products targeted for business segments supported by the Bowling Green facility and to assure an uninterrupted supply of quality products to the customer. The incumbent will be proficient in Press operations and Post Bond operations. Additional indirect job functions will be performed as necessary. Schedule workload and maintain quality records and control points of related equipment.
In this position the incumbent is required to operate various presses in multiple machine combinations and related equipment to produce a variety of quality finished parts. To make various quality checks and adjustments to equipment during production runs to solve manufacturing difficulties.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Capable of reading and understanding written instructions and or procedures, to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, blueprints, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
- Capable of recognizing visual defects and take necessary action required for correction.
- Able to communicate effectively with management, co-workers and perform simple problem solving.
- Knowledge of basic mathematical skills such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization is present.
- Ability to carry/ lift up to 35 lbs. (50 of the time). Must have the ability to stand, kneel, squat, stoop, use fingers and hands to feel, lift or handle tools, parts and equipment.
- Ability to interpret instructions furnished in written, oral diagram or schedule form.
- Ability to become certified on the fork truck/ jitney
- Must be able to work in hot conditions more than 6 months of the year.Non-Mandatory Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Jitney/ Forklift license
- Previous experience as a press operator, metal preparation operator or assembly operator
