Job Description:
An opportunity for a Treasury Operations AOSL has arisen within Airbus Operations, Getafe (Madrid).
The jobholder will be responsible of:
1.Airbus Operations SL relationship with banks, diary funding, bank flows supervision, bank accounts reconciliation, suppliers bank guarantees, payment validation.
The above is key to succeed in achieving maximum operating efficiency of Treasury operations.
Accountabilities:
Airbus Operations SL Cash Management:
XRT Tasks
Ensure accurate allocation of flows to codes. Ensures accuracy of the Treasury Management systems by delivering an up-to-date, comprehensive and reliable budget code & flow code allocation
Perform Daily Reconciliation of Forecasts Flows to actual, watch over for automatic forecast upload, maintenance of bullet and term borrowing transactions.
Perform Daily Maintenance of Cashbook Ledger.
PMF Tasks
Payment validation on Cash Pooler (batching and sending to banks).
Proactive Management of Payment Maturity Dates.
Follow up and liaise with Key business areas eg Taxes , AP.
Complete a daily review of Cash Flows and reconcile to EADS Cash Forecast
Daily Statements (Monitoring cashpooling and determine need for drawdown)
Validation and follow up of Intercompany Payments
Checking intercompany account Interests bearing at the end of the month, ensuring it´s in line with contractual agreements
Airbus Operations SL Reporting:
Provide precise visibility of Daily Cash Position and evolution of Cash balance, especially at the year end.
Ensuring bank fees are in line with banks agreements
Airbus Defence and Space Cash Management and Reporting
Over the business Tasks:
Act as a key Business Support and Relationship manager (AP, Controlling, Tax, Customer Support): support internal customers by providing with relevant information regarding any payment matters (bank account details, banking circuit, specific topics - specific monetary regulation or control..).
Effective management of Banking Relationships including (Query&39;s, Support Services, Contracts review).
Management of Supplier Guarantees (Issue, Follow-up & Release) in Global Trade. Reception, financial validation and return of original documents, ensuring the compliance, consistency and availability of related legal documentation.
Contracts & Loans Follow-up including Governmental loans and Launch Aids.
Support to both internal and external audits. Administration of payment documents for auditors. Collect and control.
Ad hoc involvement with projects. Collaborations with all required corporate projects aimed to build new skills and synergies between transnational teams.
Major Problems to be solved in the position:
Jobholder has to understand and enforce Airbus Internal Financial Control Standards.
Jobholder has to ensure the best service level while ensuring the highest level of control on cash. Warn in advance of possible deviations and propose appropriate corrective actions
Jobholder has to ensure that Treasury Management System, methods and procedures implemented for its frame is up-to-date and consistent with the Airbus Group guidelines.
Airbus Operations Treasury operations cannot be interrupted: procedures to be controlled and updated in order to make the payments on time, to control the daily cash position and do not suffer major interruptions.
Cash forecasts are up-to-date in Treasury Management Systems. Reports are accurate, reliable and timely issued.
Airbus Operations Treasury Operations Security is a priority: internal and external processes have to be secured in order to protect the company against mistakes or frauds.
