What is the VIE program?
The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) program is an international program sponsored by the French Ministry of Economy, Finance and Employment, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.
What can you expect for your position at Airbus Helicopters?
You will join The Digital Workplace (DWP) Collaboration Services Team in the Information Management (IM) Directorate. We are responsible for all the technologies people use to get work done in today’s workplace. DWP is divided into 3 main products: Collaboration Services, Personal Workplace and Industrial/Restricted workplace.
Collaboration Services is taking care of applications on premise and in the cloud like email, instant messaging, web conferencing, telephony, IT equipment and services in the meeting and video conference rooms, enterprise social media tools, file sharing applications and productivity tools like Google Workspace (GWP).
In this position, you will work with the Restricted Collaboration Product Manager also based at Donauworth. Your main mission will be working on product evolutions that improve the end user experience of Airbus Helicopters (AH) military users that have to work with dual collaboration systems (on premise and Google workspace). Additionally, you will support the development of Google Client Side Encryption (CSE) features inside AH to ensure that certain military data can be handled in the cloud with compliant security measures. Finally, you will also work with the Product Manager of Google Workspace in activities that reduce the MS Office dependency.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will include:
Participate in UX improvement projects for dual use AH military users.
Support the Restricted Collaboration Product Manager in BUILD, BUILD TO RUN and RUN improvement initiatives.
Test Google CSE features in all different GWP products (e.g. G Meet, Gmail, G Drive, etc) and provide feedback to Airbus Commercial and Google teams to ensure AH requirements are considered.
Work with the Google Workspace Product Manager in any activity that reduces AH MS Office dependency. For example, developing interfaces between the different AH applications portfolio (e.g. SAP) and Google Workspace.
Ensure local support with the Business Transformers community at Donauwörth.

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:
Graduated in Information Technology or Engineering or a comparable field of study.
Passionate about Digitalization.
IT knowledge (example: Script languages knowledge or Google tools knowledge or IT infrastructure knowledge) or capacity to quickly learn IT processes will be highly appreciated.
Customers’ needs & expectations identification.
Able to reach pragmatic and constructive solutions.
Team player.
Open-minded, self-awareness, transparency, and welcome feedback will be highly appreciated skills.
Good communication skills.
Advanced English skills.
German skills would be also appreciated but not mandatory.
