The Warehouse Agent will report to the Warehouse Supervisor, Cargo-Jetpak. The incumbent will be responsible for coordinating and lodging documents and ensuring shipments are ready for clearance appointments. He/she will unpack pallets, pick and repack shipments as needed for screening, report on any discrepancies and ensure that all packages received are loaded for delivery to the warehouse. He/She will receive and process all incoming packages, pick and fill deliveries as per the delivery schedule, facilitating the movement of packages at the pickup locations to customer vehicles when needed and coordinate returns as well as conduct frequent checks and updating of inventory at all locations to account for all packages on hand.
KEY DELIVERABLES:
- Accountability: Ensures all customer packages are accounted for, takes in deliveries and checks for damaged or missing items, ensures items are stored correctly, pack, wrap and load items, to be dispatched in a timely manner.
- Customer Service Delivery: Seeks to capitalize on opportunities to exceed the customers expectation and maintains the Caribbean Airlines Limited standard, for customer service to both internal and external customers, by ensuring all packages are located using RF Scanner.
- Operational Effectiveness: Always Maintains the efficiency of the Department and the safety and cleanliness of the Warehouse, while adhering to company safety guidelines.
- Reporting: Ensures the delivery of accurate and timely reports and provides effective data analysis and feedback to management, to aid in the decision-making process:
- Clearance reports
- Inventory management
- Damages and/or missing items
- Cargo release reports

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
You are required to have at least one (1) year of experience in a similar role with familiarity of modern warehousing methods and practices. You must also possess a minimum of five (5) GCE/CXC/CSEC Ordinary Level passes, including Mathematics and English. You must be a customer-driven professional who is also a proven team player. You must also execute loading and unloading operations with a forklift; therefore, the requisite license to operate a forklift is preferred. Basic proficiency in inventory software, along with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite is required.
