Ethiopian Airlines Group would like to invite qualified applicants for its Ethiopian New International Airport Project the capacity of Wet Utilities Engineer-Infrastructure
ABOUT THE JOB
POSITION: WET UTILITIES ENGINEER-INFRASTRUCTURE
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: FIXED TERM CONTRACT
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
BSC Degree in Civil Engineering field of study with a minimum of 15 years’ relevant experience, experience in Airport is advantageous.
Age – Not more than 50 years old
KEY COMPETENCIES:
Oversee, review and manage the design and implementation of wet utilities, and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
Expertise in global standards for water supply, wastewater, and stormwater management systems (e.g., ASCE, AWWA, FIDIC).
Proven track record in designing and implementing wet utilities systems for large-scale airport projects.
Proficiency in hydraulic modelling software (e.g., EPANET, SWMM, Water CAD) for efficient water distribution and drainage.
Experience in eco-friendly and sustainable water management practices, including rainwater harvesting and greywater recycling.
Thorough understanding of environmental regulations, aviation standards, and infrastructure codes related to wet utilities.
Skilled in coordinating with civil, structural, and environmental teams to ensure seamless integration of wet utilities into the overall airport infrastructure.
Expertise in overseeing the installation and testing of wet utilities systems, ensuring quality and safety.
Ability to address complex design and construction challenges related to water systems in a high-capacity airport setting.
Expertise in trenchless technology, pumping stations, and pressure management systems.
LANGUAGE
Knowledge of ET working language English is mandatory.
