The OMBGG Governance & Network Management team is looking for a Cyber Security Assistant. You will be part of the OMBG department which is the Manufacturing Engineering central organisation for Ground Tests CoC (Centre of Competence). 

We develop and improve so called etools for the ground tests in order to execute the tests on the aircraft systems in all Final Assembly Lines. One of our main missions is to safeguard that all aircrafts systems are free from any cyber security threats and in line with the Airbus directives and international regulations. Furthermore, we drive innovations for new test equipment, future programs (e.g. ZEROe, eAction), better qualifications and test design across all programs and around the world.

This vacant position is essential to bring the Ground Tests to the next level with a strong focus on cyber security within our industrial setup.

Working students are students who are enrolled at a University or some other institution of higher education, and who are employed in a reasonably long, fixed-term position parallel to their studies. This position must not be confused with an internship or with the possibility of writing a final thesis.

This employment usually takes place directly on the company&39;s premises. A working student&39;s main focus remains on their studies, which is why, during term-time, working students are not allowed to work more than 20 hours per week.

Working students therefore usually work near their place of study, so as to conveniently combine studying and employment.

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. Are you wondering how you actually get from university to Airbus? Your working student position is at the Finkenwerder plant and you can take the ferry from Teufelsbrück to the Airbus ferry terminal and back to the university in the morning and at noon. Alternatively, you can take the ferry to Finkenwerder and then ride your bike for about another 15 minutes to the main entrance.

• Enrolled full-time student in the area of Information Technology & Information Systems / Computer Science or an equivalent field of study.

• Acquired some knowledge in the field of industrial IT environment is desirable.

• Fluent in English, French and German would be a plus
