Description:Performs a variety of operations to prepare and/or execute correct finish on sheet metal and extrusion parts. Have the ability to prepare aircraft surfaces, mask, prime, apply finish coatings, and anti-corrosion chemical treatment. Displays ability to plan, layout, interpret blueprints, sketches to all engineering specifications; determine sequence of operations, number of required pieces and method of setup. Uses a variety of tools and precision measuring instruments. Makes standard shop calculations relating to preparation and/or cure times. May monitor and verify quality with statistical process or other control procedures. May input data as required. Performs other duties as assigned.
Flexibility and agility to work in multiple departments based on operational necessity.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in the spraying application of paint, chemical conversion coating and heat treating of parts, and/or application of L/O Coatings
- Experience Reading and Interpreting Blueprints.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Desired Skills:
Mathematical ability to perform and/or understand the calculations used in assigned areas and ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications and technical data. Competently uses computers and other systems to access, maintain, and manipulate data. Interpersonal skills and ability to interface with all levels, to work in teams or independently and communicate effectively with co-workers or supervisory staff.
Knowledge and ability to perform multiple skill requirements with limited supervision.

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
