Job Type: Full time; contract
Pay Rate: $27.00 - $40.00 per hour

Job Summary

• Read engineering drawings to determine tasks for chemical and paint application on aircraft surfaces.

• Prepare aircraft by stripping old paint, masking sensitive areas, and removing contaminants.

• Sand, grind, buff, and apply putty and sealers to aircraft surfaces before priming and painting.

• Apply alodine, primer, base coat, stripes, decals, and vinyl appliques to aircraft surfaces.

• Assist in moving aircraft, inspecting for imperfections, and performing touch-ups as needed.

• Document work performed, follow safety protocols, and support production, flight test, and inspection tasks.

• You typically have 4 years of experience, which must include preparation and painting aircraft or equivalent

• You have the ability to read and interpret engineering documents, customer instructions, and maintenance manuals
