Job Description:
  • Follow the day-to-day operations related to your own job to ensure continuity of work.
  • Ensure daily production targets are achieved
  • Lead scheduled service and maintenance tasks on components and advice on problems maintaining, servicing, and inspecting components and related aircraft equipment.
  • Lead unscheduled maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting tasks assigned to aircraft systems, components, and related equipment and ensure the right implementation of procedures.
  • Review and inspect maintenance forms, aircraft records, automated maintenance data systems, and historical reports as required to ensure complete documentation and sign-off for the supervisor’s approval.
  • Report findings to supervisor and issues to supervisor and collaborate with the supervisor to assess the problem and lead the implementation of the adopted solution and ensure proper execution in performing tasks.
  • Provide accurate status reports on daily maintenance activities to the supervisor.
  • Comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies, procedures, and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment.
  • Adhere to the company Quality management system (QMS) Safety Management System (SMS) and local occupational health and safety regulation.
Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years experience in paint shop
  • Complete Removal and Replacement of Coatings to Military Aircraft and associated parts by OEM Technical Orders, drawings, General Technical Orders, and local policies.
  • Remove existing aircraft coating from aircraft and associated parts
  • Apply Masking tape and coverings over areas that are not required reprocessed
  • Wash/clean aircraft and associated parts for Chemical Conversion Coatings, Primers, Radar Absorbing Materials, Low Observable Coatings, and rain erosion coatings/Tapes
  • Apply new Chemical Conversion Coatings, Primers, Radar Absorbing Materials, Low Observable Coatings, and rain erosion coatings/tapes
  • Apply designs and markings using stencils, if required
  • Apply Sealing Compound to all Seams and Gaps as required by Technical Data
  • Clean and maintain all utilized sanding and spraying equipment
  • Adhere to all OSHA and local safety requirements
  • Dispose of all hazardous materials by local disposal procedures
  • Conduct Daily/Shift completion Logs as required
  • Conduct all pre-quality Assurance inspections as required
  • Follow the “Clean as you go” Policy
  • Follow and Control all tools in accordance with local policy
  • Skill level 5 / 7
