Education, Experience & Other Requirements
- Bachelors Degree preferred; Relevant job experience in lieu of degree will be considered
- Valid FAA Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (ATP)
- Bombardier Global Vision/5500/6500 Type Rating Preferred
- Current FAA 1st -Class Medical Certificate
- 3,500 Hours Total Time in Fixed-Wing aircraft, 2,000 Hours Pilot-in-Command, 1,500 Hours turbine aircraft, at-least one turbojet type-rating with 1000 hours PIC in-type
- Currently serving as PIC aboard multi-engine, multi-crew turbojet aircraft w/200hrs. PIC time logged in preceding 12 months (preferred).
- Completion of a simulator and classroom Recurrent Training program at a recognized training facility (FlightSafety, Simuflite, CAE) within preceding 12 months.
- International flight operations experience preferred
- Must reside within 45 minute drive of Buffalo/Niagara International Airport (KBUF)
- Must be able to work varying hours, evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must be extremely flexible schedule-wise and respond to short-notice changes
- Must demonstrate exceptional degree of attention-to-detail in all aspects of position
- Valid US Passport required for conduct of International Flight Operations
- Must pass company, FAA and TSA background checks
Travel Requirement
- Extensive - The New Era Cap flight department will be staffed and operated in a manner affording pilots a good work/life balance.
- It is the goal of New Era Cap to have flight crew members actively-participate in scheduling operations, working as a team to provide for each individual pilot’s workload and non-work demands to be considered and incorporated into flight crew scheduling.
The salary range for this posted position is $190,000 - $225,000 (plus bonus & benefits) and pertains to candidates located in Western New York. Actual compensation is determined by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, education, essential job duties and requirements, and necessary experience.
