KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

New Pacific Airlines Dash 8 Simulator Flight Instructor is responsible for conducting comprehensive simulator and ground training for flight crew members. The Dash 8 Simulator Flight Instructor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the standardization and professional development of flight crews, contributing to the highest levels of safety and operational excellence. Other responsibilities aligned with New Pacific’s Core Values include but are not limited to: 

• Upholding safety by ensuring all training activities comply with FAA-approved programs and company standards.
• Demonstrating commitment through thorough preparation and delivery of initial, recurrent, and specialized training programs.
• Acting with integrity when providing constructive feedback and evaluations to pilots, fostering continuous improvement and professionalism.
• Embodying the spirit of connectedness by collaborating with the training team to maintain consistency in training materials and policies.
• Showing reliability through timely and accurate completion of training-related duties and support for regulatory compliance.
• Promoting commitment by engaging in courteous and respectful interactions with customers, supervisors, co-workers, and business associates.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to safety, professionalism, and effective communication skills. Other qualifications include: 

• Must possess a high school diploma or GED. 
• Must have previous experience in a training or instructional role (preferred). 
• Must be familiar with Dash 8 aircraft systems and operations. 

• Must have strong communication and coaching skills. 
• Must have a strong safety awareness and the ability to adhere to Safety Management Systems (SMS). 
• Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug test. 
• Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English fluently. 
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without employer sponsorship. 
• Must be comfortable working in an airport environment around odors and sounds typically associated with operating aircraft.
