Job Description

We are looking for skilled and talented Career Flight Instructors who are responsible for teaching students how to fly in a variety of settings using methods that include textbook education, and live flight training in our helicopters. Career minded candidates who are wanting stability and delivering achievable student flying goals. We are looking for EXPERIENCED instructors who are confident in their abilities to train autorotations, throttle work, prevent overspeeds, and know when students are meeting standards without question.

- Flight training of students as assigned.
- Conduct flight training in accordance with FARs and So Fly course outline or contract training course, as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate logbook records of assigned students and they are scheduled for stage checks in a timely manner.
- Manage assigned students training within syllabus and the schedule.
- Maintain currency in all procedures and regulations.
- Maintain recency in accordance with FAR 61.57 on file with instructor records, 61.56, and appropriate endorsements for instruction.
- Adhere to SOP's and regulations.
- Complete initial Instructor standardization training.
- Complete periodic Line Checks/Evaluation Flights as required.
- Participate and promote the safety culture, reporting all aviation safety related issues via the feedback system, and adhere to the processes related to accomplishing goals.
- Other tasks assigned by the Program Manager, Chief Instructor, and/or Center Director.
