Minimum of 8 years transport experience with at least:
- 2,700 total flight hours
- 2,500 hours rotary wing flight time (1,000 hours Pilot-in-Command)
- 1,500 hours turbine engine experience
- 100 hours night operations (NVG included)
- 100 hours actual or simulated instrument experience
FAA Required Certifications:
- Class 1 or Class 2 Medical Certification
- Commercial Helicopter with Instrument Rating
Preferred Certifications:
- FAA Air Transport Pilot License
- Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) Helicopter
- Certified Flight Instrument Instructor (CFII) Helicopter
Your Responsibilities
- Ensure safe and compliant operations following FAA regulations and Arkansas Children's protocols
- Prepare VFR/IFR flight plans and maintain accurate logs
- Conduct pre-flight checks, maintenance assessments, and discrepancy reports
- Communicate flight plans and aircraft status with Angel One Communications Center and maintenance teams
- Maintain Single Pilot IFR (SPIFR) proficiency
