Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and personable Helicopter Pilot to conduct scenic guided tours over Miami. In addition to safely operating the aircraft, the pilot will act as an onboard guide, offering engaging narration of Miami’s key landmarks, history, and highlights. The ideal candidate will prioritize safety, provide an exceptional passenger experience, and represent our company’s commitment to high-quality tours.

Key Responsibilities:

-Safe Flight Operations: Conduct scenic helicopter tours over Miami, ensuring passenger safety and comfort.
Maintain proper flight procedures and adhere to FAA regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.

-Onboard Guide & Narration:Provide informative and engaging commentary during tours, pointing out notable attractions, local history, and interesting facts about Miami’s skyline, coastline, and landmarks.
Adjust presentation style to suit different audiences, fostering an enjoyable and memorable experience for all passengers.

-Aircraft Maintenance & Inspection: Perform pre-flight and post-flight inspections in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies. Promptly report any mechanical issues, discrepancies, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.

-Operations Coordination: Collaborate and teamwork with ground crew to ensure efficient scheduling, loading, and unloading of passengers. Weather & Air Traffic Monitoring: Stay updated on local weather conditions, NOTAMs, and air traffic restrictions in the Miami area. Make informed decisions regarding flight cancellations or rescheduling in the interest of safety.

-Aircraft Appearance: Keep the helicopter clean, both internally and externally, maintaining a professional appearance for passengers.

-High Customer Satisfaction: Greet passengers with a warm, personalized welcome and proactively address any questions or concerns before and during the flight. Maintain a friendly, engaging demeanor throughout each tour, fostering memorable interactions that encourage positive reviews and strengthen the company's reputation.

Job Requirements:

Commercial Helicopter Pilot License (CPL-H): Must hold a valid FAA commercial rotorcraft license.
Pilot-in-Command (PIC) Experience: Minimum of 400 hours total PIC time in helicopters.
Robinson R44 Experience: Minimum of 50 hours logged in Robinson R44 helicopters.
Robinson Safety Course: Completion of a full Robinson-approved safety course (RHC Safety Course).
FAA Medical Certificate: Possess current FAA Medical Certificate.
Clean Safety Record: Demonstrated commitment to safe flying with no recent accidents or incidents.
Language Skills: Fluency in English and Spanish.
Communication & Customer Service: Exceptional verbal communication skills for narration and customer interactions.
Flexible Scheduling: Availability to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts according to tour demand and weather conditions.
Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with ground crew, dispatch, and management to ensure smooth tour operations.
Strong Safety Orientation: Excellent situational awareness and strict adherence to all safety protocols, with a proactive approach to risk management.
