Job Description:

Tasks

  • Support and care for agents in the assigned sales region
  • Sell cargo capacity with a focus on special products
  • Negotiate rates and allotments with assigned customers
  • Regularly evaluate opportunities for new acquisitions while maintaining existing traffic
  • Supervise current traffics and implement corrective measures as needed
  • Drive positive spanet share growth for assigned customers and sales regions
  • Maintain and update the internal customer database (oneCRM)
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute sales and spaneting actions in collaboration with the Head of Sales Switzerland and the Sales and Market Development Manager
  • Participate in sales-related projects 
  • Assist the Inside Sales team in selling remaining capacity on an ad-hoc basis within established guidelines

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred
  • Previous experience in the air cargo or freight forwarder industry
  • Experience in customer service, sales, or cargo operations preferred
  • Excellent communication and sales skills
  • High level of customer orientation
  • Effective negotiator and attentive listener
  • Solution-oriented with the ability to persuade
  • Positive working attitude with high level of activity and independence
  • Team player
  • Fluent in German (spoken and written)
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Other languages are an advantage
