This position requires experience in charter sales, business development, customer service, and operations. This position will work with multiple departments to ensure the seamless execution of charter flights, while adhering to DOT/FAA regulations, collective bargaining agreements and company policies. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of the business plan for the division, which includes a focus on significantly growing charter sales, fleet optimization, increased profitability and margins, and geographic destination expansion.
Job Functions:
- Promotes and fosters safety as a core value of the Company.
- Manages and coordinates charter sales, including quoting, booking, and scheduling.
- Assists with the development of business strategies to increase profitability, optimize fleet utilization, and expand geographic destinations.
- Ensures all charter operating policies conform to applicable DOT/FAA regulations and that all operations are conducted in accordance with those regulations.
- Coordinates with pilots, ground crew, and maintenance teams to ensure all flights are organized and handled in a safe, efficient, and professional manner in accordance with the General Operations Manual, Charter Operations Manual, Operations Specifications and company SOP Manuals.
- Coordinates aircraft handling to include arrangements for FBO notification, fuel, catering, hangar, aircraft cleaning, after-hours, or other services as needed.
- Understands international operations and coordinates permits, handling, parking, airport slots, customs, and overflights.
- Has a complete and thorough knowledge of the appropriate station contracts, and works closely with Airport Handlers to implement service agreement performance metrics (SLAs)
- Assists with the development of and implementation of quarterly review in partnership with COO, on Air Wisconsin performance metrics.
- Ensures all Air Wisconsin employees and vendors are trained and maintain appropriate records.
- Prepares and analyzes reports on charter operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing new solutions and related services.
- Participates in creating or modifying company charter products and services to innovate offerings over time.
- Works closely operations groups to support organizational wide strategy and meet company goals and objectives.
- Reviews industry trends and conducts competitive analysis to drive sales and improve approach and understanding of market dynamics.
- Ensures all flights are conducted safely and adhere to strict time schedules.
- Monitors and manages flight schedules and weather conditions to optimize flight operations with other departments.
- Ensures all necessary documentation, including flight manifests and regulatory paperwork, is accurately completed and assessable and filed with the operations department.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of FAA regulations and ensures all operations adhere to Part 121 standards.
- Assists with the facilitation of the development and implementation of the annual budget, financial forecasts, and other business goals, and lead third party management to ensure budget goals are achieved.

Education & Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in managing/coordinating charter operations.
- Proven experience in sales management, business development, and outside sales in the Aviation Industry.
- Ability to analyze sales metrics and market data to make informed decisions.
- Strong organizational, communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and adhere to deadlines.
