Role Introduction
Reports to: Sales Services Specialist
This role will be part of the Sales Services Team, focused on driving growth and fostering strong trade relationships.
As a Sales Services Officers (Group/MICE), your goal will be to assist in achieving agency account sales targets and route sales objectives. You will support the development of trade relationships and promote the brand and its products while also working to grow the MICE business through agencies and direct contacts.
In this role, you will gain experience in sales strategy and relationship management, enhancing your skills in business development. Your contributions will significantly impact the overall growth of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate sales by providing effective support to the agency channel, assisting the Group, Tour, and Leisure Sales Team in achieving revenue targets
- Monitor group booking activities and ensure all confirmed bookings are accurately input with the correct group details
- Follow up on escalation requests for large party bookings and bidding group requests with the head office
- Ensure timely deposit payments and update the system accordingly
- Prepare flight check tables, follow up on final emails from agents, and update the system
- Manage special requests from travel agents, such as for musical instruments
- Coordinate the verification of US documentation and appointment letters with agents
- Generate advance booking and group utilization reports to assist the sales team in strategy development
- Provide timely support and handle inquiries from travel agents via email and phone
- Collaborate with internal departments to resolve agency issues and carry out assignments from supervisors
Requirements
- Minimum qualifications of HKCEE or HKDSE with at least five subjects passed, including English language; diploma from a recognized institution or college preferred
- One to two years of experience in commercial sales with a solid understanding of the industry
- Proficient spoken and written English and Chinese, knowledge of Mandarin is a plus
- Ability to adapt interpersonal styles to effectively collaborate with diverse colleagues and stakeholders
- Energetic and outgoing personality
- Strong analytical skills for collecting relevant information and addressing complex issues
- High sense of responsibility and commitment to tasks
- Proficient in PC applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
