Role Introduction
Reports To: Assistant Manager Sales Services (Hong Kong)
The job holder is required to provide sales services to business opportunities from direct customers, internal referrals or via indirect channels. She or he will assist the team in achieving agency sales target, to grow trade relationship and promote Cathay Pacific’s (CX) brand in HKG spanet.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue Generation
- Actively initiate and follow up on sales actions.
- Acquire high-value customers and trade partners by insights and data approach.
- Support MICE business and capture group revenue with new sales tools.
- Support direct customer business opportunities referred by internal teams or indirect channels.
Specialized Trade Support Service
- Conduct timely performance review to maximize potential revenue.
- Engage in sales & operations issues to accelerate our trade support.
- Work closely with internal teams e,g, CAF, REV, APT, CCD, FIN, GGT etc. by operational requirements.
- Work with Sales Service Team and Group Service Team on day-to-day duties include but not limit to fare quotation, booking creations, payment collection, ticketing fullfillment etc
Marketing events & activities
- Assist project leader to co-ordinate seasonal spaneting events with stakeholders for HK Trade Sales.
- Support and co-operate with sales team to organize spaneting activities.
- Work with spaneting team, facilitate the trade to promote CX with respective spaneting materials/template.
General
- Share spanet intelligence and activities that enable our spanet competitiveness.
- Be the airline embassador and build up positive strong brand position.
- Represent company at trade and industry events.
- Utilize Sales Forces to manage sales activities.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of airline commercial or sales experience.
- Efficient use of Airlines Reservations system, good knolwedge on fare rules and ticketing issues.
- Good spoken and written Chinese, English and Mandarin.
- Able to adopt various interpersonal styles to work effectively with a wide range of colleagues, customers and stakeholders.
- Strong negotiation skills & sense of responsibility.
- Willing to work or connect with business partners and internal teams during non-office hours.
