As a Sr Tech Writer, you will be using your skills and expertise to work with subject matter experts, to obtain an in-depth comprehension of a variety of systems necessary to meet the documentation specifications for our programs and proposals. These cover a very wide range, from advanced mission payloads and electronic systems through highly integrated aircraft to orbital and space exploration systems. Youll develop our operations/maintenance manuals, supplements, and related documentation utilizing engineering drawings, block diagrams, wiring diagrams, schematics, and CAD models. Youll host recurring internal and external documentation review conferences to solicit feedback from various teams for incorporation into future revisions.As SNCs corporate team, we provide the company and its business areas with strategic direction and business support spanning executive management, finance and accounting, operations, human resources, legal, IT, information security, facilities, spaneting, and communications.

Responsibilities:
- Write documentation based on a variety of inputs
- Lead and facilitate large scale document update efforts related
- Work with CMC team members to facilitate the publication of new documents
Must-haves:
- Bachelors degree in a related field of study and typically 10 or more years of relevant experience
- A higher level degree may substitute for experience
- Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
- Thorough knowledge of technical writing principles, practices, and standards
- Comprehensive understanding of desktop publishing tools, including publishing features of Microsoft Word
- Expertise in the practical application of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Powerpoint) and Adobe publishing tools and editing, layout, and production of technical documents which include graphics, tables, and other embedded content
- Experience working in multi-disciplinary design and development teams
- Experience leading large scale documentation initiatives, specifically corporate process and policy level documents
