MC-12 Sensor Operator

Conducts MC-12 training sorties in accordance with DoD and USAF requirements. Plans tactical and operational Sensor Operator training evolutions encompassing a wide array of prospective students of varying experience levels. Conducts extensive flight briefings relying on senior flight experience ensuring safe and effective air operations. Provides sensor operation in support of instruction for students.
Additional duties include but are not limited to the following: Develops, exercises, manages, and updates aircraft systems, tactics and techniques, and aircraft employment courseware and curriculum. Develops and updates training scenarios. Employees may be assigned other duties, as directed by management.
• Current and qualified in the MC-12W OR in tactical ISR platforms, to include the AC-130 within the previous two years. Former CSOs or enlisted sensor operators (1A3, 1A4 or 1A9) would be considered acceptable if qualified within the previous four years and if the following conditions are met prior to start of performance:
o Performed five years of military operational flying duty
o Must have 500 flight hours of which 100 hours experience must be as a qualified electro-optical/infrared (EO/IR) sensor operator
• Active Secret security clearance and be able to access—need to know only—classified information
