Job Description:
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Unmanned Aircraft Systems Operations including Remote PIC, Sensor/Camera Operation, Visual Observer/ Electronic Observer Duties.
Light aircraft assembly, maintenance, documentation, and compliance with FAA regulations and Standard Operation Procedures. Payload operator duties include wide range of sensors operations including DSLR, EO/IR/UV, LiDAR. UAS flight demonstrations on-site with formal/informal flight training. Coordinate with company subject matter experts to resolve issues beyond the scope of field maintenance capability. Documentation of maintenance actions and flights missions.
Ability to integrate various UAS sensors mounts with engineering and fabrication staff. Assist staff with new business development and customer satisfaction. Review and respond to UAS RFI/RFPs.
Review of customer flight mission requirements within US NAS and apply for FAA airspace waivers and/or certifications as required. Ability to travel up to 40% CONUS. 
Job Requirements:

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
5 + years of UAS operations including extensive knowledge of flight control systems and image capture  techniques. Remote Pilot in Command experience with documented flight logs. History of successful UAS flight and ground support equipment operations, troubleshooting and maintenance. Practical experience flight planning and coordinating with FAA for airspace waiver request.
Assembly and modification of UAS including ESCs, transmitters, and electrical components, including integration of multiple sensors. Knowledge of antenna design and optimization. Ability to communicate effectively with employees, partners, customers, and regulators. Ability to work part of a team environment and without direct supervision.
Working knowledge of basic electronics, photogrammetry, GIS or surveying.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and knowledge of proper English usage, grammar, vocabulary, spelling.
Must be able to handle confidential information and issues effectively and without breach of confidentiality.

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS
B.S. Degree in aviation or engineering or equivalent work-related experience
FAA sUAS Remote Pilot Certificate
FAA medical
FAA Private Pilot license preferred
Applicants should have a high degree of computer literacy to include; Microsoft office Suite. Basic working knowledge of various data output software, including PIX4D, Inertial Explorer, Terrasolid.
