Job Responsibilities:

Authorized to approve aircraft, aircraft engines, propellers, appliances, or component parts for return to service after maintenance, preventive maintenance, rebuilding, or alteration. (14 CFR 43.7)
Ability to reweigh and perform aircraft weight and balance operations and compilation of weight and balance data.

Responsibility for the entire flight, including signing the flight order prepared and co-signed by the L-FTE.
Captain, under DOA privilege and by delegation of the HO Flight Test, approves flight conditions according to Airbus procedure.
Strictly adhere to the authorized flight test plan. Based on real-time flight analysis, instrumentation issues, changing weather, or aircraft serviceability, the L-FTE may modify the flight test plan in-flight with the Captains concurrence, provided it complies with the authorized flight envelope and aircraft limitations. Classroom Instruction: 75

Participate in ground and flight instruction/training for customer personnel.
Receive and update flight manuals; screen service bulletins and letters to update and maintain related training courseware and curriculum.

Perform flight training as an instructor pilot with transition and recurrent students in Airbus helicopters, training and evaluating maneuvers that include normal, abnormal, and emergency procedures.

Assure that periodic checks are made on all inspection tools and the calibration of precision test equipment used by the repair station and technicians who have their own precision equipment. Further assure that a current record of those inspections and tests are maintained.
Determine that no defective, un-serviceable, or unairworthy parts are installed in any component or articles released by the repair station.
Submit reports of defects of un-airworthy condition in accordance with FAR 145.221.
Assure the proper execution of FAA Form 337 when required, and/or a maintenance release.
Accomplish the final acceptance of all incoming material, including new parts, supplies and the airworthiness of articles on which work has been performed outside the repair station by contract.
Conduct the preliminary, hidden damage, in-progress, and final inspection of all articles processed by the repair station and record results as outlined in the Repair Station manual.
Oversee the proper tagging and identification of all parts and components as outlined in this the Repair Station manual.
Provide for continuity of inspection responsibility, assuring completion of required inspections when personnel shift of assignment changes occur.

Position Summary

The Office Assistant provides administrative and logistical support to the Air Ambulance Division (AAD) by assisting leadership and staff with a wide range of assigned tasks.

• Receives and logs incoming medical supplies/equipment; conducts routine inventory cycle counting.
