We have an exciting onsite opportunity for a CFO/Controller HMI to join our team in Clayville, New York!  

What You Will Do:
 

The CFO works closely with the Regional Controller, partners with the local General Manager and Operations staff to drive the business forward.  The CFO will be responsible for handling a host of accounting, reporting, and financial duties to ensures accurate and timely data, while maintaining proper internal controls and compliance with established accounting standards and procedures. The CFO is also responsible for mentoring and leading a small team of financial professionals. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Coordinate and lead financial planning, budgeting, costing, profitability analyses, and financial stewardship
  • Proficiency in general accounting functions including monthly, quarterly, year-end closing, preparation of general ledger reports, forecasts, and cash flow projections
  • Work closely with executive team and partners to ensure efficient and successful companywide operation
  • Manage the production of and monthly monitoring of the annual budget and forecasts - Assess, execute policies, procedures, controls, and most methodologies
  • Complete month-end and year-end close of income statement and balance sheet, reconcile accounts, and handle G/L analysis
  • Inspect deliverables of self and team to ensure that they meet expectations
  • Work closely with Operations leadership
  • Be a change agent to improve financial and operational outcomes

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or related field and 12+ years of experience in accounting, business administration, or related field; OR an advanced degree in accounting, business administration, or related field and 10+ years of experience in accounting, business administration, or related field
  • US Citizenship or US persons (Green card) required, due to government contracts, programs and projects

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Progressive accounting and financial experience with demonstrated success in driving change
  • Ability to lead, work under dynamic conditions, work across different disciplines, and effectively manage multiple priorities
  • CPA or MBA is an asset
  • Excellent written, verbal, and social communication

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
