Contract Administrator – Support Critical Aerospace Contracts with PrecisionManage Military Contracts. Ensure Compliance. Drive Operational Excellence.PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Contract Administrator to support military spares purchase orders (POs) in Rockford, IL. In this full-time consulting role, you will work independently to review, manage, and process critical military contracts, ensuring timely delivery, compliance, and seamless customer communication. Pay Rate: $32.16 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM
Location: Rockford, IL (Fully Onsite)
Duration: 24-month contract
What You’ll DoAs a Contract Administrator, you will play a vital role in managing military aerospace contracts, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with government and industry regulations. Your responsibilities include:
Review and manage military spares purchase orders (POs), ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Clear order holds and process deliveries through the government WAWF site.
Maintain and update customer portals, providing real-time order status and supporting customer meetings.
Communicate with customers on PO modifications, delivery schedules, and expedite requests.
Work across internal teams (shipping, packaging, ITC, credit, and more) to resolve issues impacting order fulfillment.
Provide essential documentation such as packing slips, Certificates of Conformance (CoCs), and other system-generated reports.
Analyze sales orders and deliveries using SAP to ensure seamless processing.
Support reporting and process improvement initiatives to enhance contract administration efficiency.
What You BringRequired QualificationsExperience in government contract administration, procurement, or a related field.
Bachelors Degree
Strong understanding of government contracts and military purchase orders.
Proficiency in customer communication and order management.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). These regulations may limit access of controlled technologies: 1) to U.S. Persons, including U.S. Citizens, lawful permanent residents, and other narrow categories including refugees and asylees, or 2) to certain foreign nationals that have received an export license.
Preferred QualificationsExperience with SAP for sales order review and delivery processing.
Familiarity with government portals (WAWF) for contract management.
Previous experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing industries.
Process improvement experience and ability to enhance reporting efficiency.
