Job Title: Avionics Technician - Bench/Component LevelJob Description- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair avionic instrumentation equipment at the component level to ensure perfect function and provide customers with reliable and quality repairs.
- Complete documentation such as shop and work order records and submit required reports.
- Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, procedures, and technical manuals.
- Utilize company database to locate parts and manuals.
- Apply principles and basic theories of electronics, electrical circuitry, mathematics, testing, and elementary physics.
Essential Skills- Experience with radio systems.
- Aptitude for fine, detailed mechanical work with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
- Basic communication skills including written, verbal, and interpersonal.
- Minimum two-year electronics degree or equivalent education, training, and experience.
- Minimum two years of experience in the maintenance and repair of various types of avionic equipment such as autopilot, radios, radar, or transponders.
- Proficiency with PCB soldering, auto-pilot, and radio repair.
