AvCom Avionics is looking for a skilled Avionics Technician to join our team in Dallesport and Hood River! If you have a strong technical background and a passion for aviation, we want to hear from you. An A&P certification is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and test instruments, components, and assemblies using circuit testers, oscilloscopes, and voltmeters.
• Inspect, maintain, and install avionics systems, including navigation, radio communication, and flight control equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical issues using testing equipment.
• Adjust, repair, and replace malfunctioning components as needed.
• Document maintenance, repairs, and work orders accurately.
• Operate ground support and test equipment to perform flight tests on electrical systems.
• Assemble components such as switches, electrical controls, and junction boxes.
• Install and connect components according to technical documentation and layout plans.
• Analyze flight test data and coordinate with team members to ensure optimal performance.
