We are hiring an experienced Avionics Technician to support maintenance, modifications, and installations on SH-60 helicopters. This position requires prior experience working with avionics systems, including troubleshooting, testing, and system integration. Candidates should have a strong understanding of wiring diagrams, schematics, and avionics test equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and repair navigation, communication, and mission-specific avionics systems on SH-60 helicopters
• Diagnose and resolve avionics issues using technical data and test equipment
• Perform functional and operational testing to verify system performance
• Document all maintenance and repairs in compliance with FAA and company standards
• Work alongside engineers, supervisors, and other technicians to ensure projects are completed efficiently
• Follow all safety and operational procedures during installations and repairs

• Minimum three years of avionics experience, preferably on military helicopters
• Proficiency in installing, troubleshooting, and repairing aircraft avionics systems
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and engineering drawings
• Experience using avionics testing and diagnostic equipment
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and able to pass a 10-panel drug test and background check
• Valid U.S. driver’s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working on SH-60 helicopters
• FAA A&P License or FCC GROL Certification
• Ability to obtain a security clearance

Physical & Work Environment

• Work is performed in a hangar, near flight lines, or in a shop environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods, crouch, and climb ladders
• Exposure to hazardous materials and high-noise environments
• Required to wear protective gear (PPE) as necessary
