Job Description

The Electronics Technician works under limited direction and supervision and is responsible for testing, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying the production of electronic or mechanical products, parts, equipment, and systems. This includes computer equipment, instrumentation, digital/analog, electronic products, test equipment, and electro-mechanical products, applying principles and theories of electronics and electrical circuitry.

PAY : 25-33/hr

Responsibilities

• Test, troubleshoot, repair, and modify production of electronic or mechanical products, parts, equipment, and systems.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematic drawings.
• Use manufacturing and engineering instructions for testing assembled electronic or mechanical units.
• Interpret and work in accordance with work orders, drawings, schematics, functional and acceptance test procedures, failure reports, manuals, and all other applicable engineering and production specifications.
• Maintain system logs and manuals to document testing and operation of equipment.

Work Environment

The work environment is climate-controlled. You will sit at a workbench and work alongside other assemblers in a department of 50 people, including both mechanical and electrical roles. The shift schedule includes 1st shift (Monday-Friday, 6am-3:30pm on a 9/80 schedule) and 2nd shift (Monday-Friday, 3:15pm-12:45am on a 9/80 schedule).

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $23.00/hr.
