Vortex Aviation is seeking a Travel Avionics Technician to join our team. As an Avionic Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and functionality of our aircraft's electrical and avionics systems. In this role, you will collaborate with our skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technicians, performing system inspections, conducting tests, and using diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve any issues. Your ability to communicate effectively and work well within a team will contribute to the overall success of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Performing maintenance and repair on avionic systems, including navigation, communication, and electronic control systems.
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical issues using specialized testing equipment.
- Interpreting flight test data and make necessary adjustments to ensure proper functionality of avionics systems.
- Install new avionic components and upgrade existing systems as per manufacturer's guidelines.
- Collaborating with other technicians to troubleshoot complex avionic system problems.
- Conducting regular inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Documenting all repairs, modifications, and maintenance procedures accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.
