STS Aviation Group is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst – Accounting Operations to support enterprise-level finance initiatives and process improvements across our global organization. This full-time, hybrid-eligible role is based at our corporate headquarters in Jensen Beach, Florida.
Position Overview:
Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, the Senior Financial Analyst plays a key role in driving operational excellence across the Corporate Finance function. This position supports cross-functional initiatives, system enhancements, internal reporting, and accounting process optimization. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide analytical and project support for finance initiatives across corporate and business unit functions
- Design, document, and enhance accounting operations processes (e.g., reconciliations, accruals, intercompany transactions, fixed assets)
- Execute and support accounting system enhancements or ERP implementations
- Prepare executive-level summaries, reports, and financial packages
- Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as directed by the Corporate Controller, CFO, or senior finance leaders
- Collaborate with IT, FP&A, HR, and Tax teams on enterprise-wide initiatives
- Assist with audit processes, internal controls, and compliance documentation
- Support M&A efforts, including integration, policy alignment, and opening balance sheet setup
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required (CPA or MBA strongly preferred)
- 4–7 years of progressive experience in accounting, public accounting, corporate finance, or financial operations
- Solid understanding of U.S. GAAP and accounting operations best practices
- ERP system experience required (Acumatica, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred)
- Advanced Excel skills; knowledge of Power BI, SmartSheets, or Velixo a plus
- Proven ability to manage projects, document processes, and communicate across departments
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Role Details:
- Full-time, exempt position
- Hybrid or remote eligible (with occasional on-site work at HQ in Jensen Beach, Florida)
- No direct reports but may lead project-based initiatives
- Interaction with external consultants, auditors, and vendors may be required
