Our Winery is seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and hard-working Captain for single pilot Citation operations on behalf of our team located in Paso Robles, CA. The operation is FAA Part 91 and historically operates around 200 to 225 hours per year.
The captain prepares and ensures the safe and efficient operation of company aircraft in accordance with the Federal Aviation Regulations and company procedures.
The full-time position would involve a Citation Encore, which the Single Pilot in Command would operate under FAR Part 91. The Candidate should have extensive knowledge of flight operations, FAA regulations, Standard Operating Procedures, aircraft flight manuals, and other technical data appropriate to aircraft operations.
The Ideal candidate would have experience in planning and managing the safe operation of flights in accordance with aircraft and weather limitations, ensuring aircraft is inspected, loaded, and equipped properly, and ensuring compliance and adaptation with the demands of a flexible flight schedule when necessary.

Essential Functions
- Pilots the aircraft as Pilot in Command in support of flying as assigned by the owner of the aircraft
- Conducts flights in compliance with applicable aviation regulations and company standard operating procedures
- Assists with daily reports and incident reports, as required
- Ensures the aircraft is operated in accordance with the aircraft manufacturer’s requirements, flight manuals, directives, and company policies
- Ensures all flight operations are performed in a safe and professional manner
- Assists in the responsibilities for minor aircraft upkeep (wipe down the interior, ensure the aircraft is properly stocked, etc.)
- Owns assigned tasks from their initiation to completion/decision point
- Has the ability to make decisions within their assigned task without extensive oversight
Work Environment
This aircraft is based in Paso Robles, CA. There is no requirement for the pilot to live near the airplane however, the pilot must be able to arrive at the plane within 24 hours of a call out.
