Position Responsibilities:

Write Acceptance Test Procedures (ATPs)
Work with P-8 Simulator supplier to perform testing prior to delivery to Boeing on flight simulator to ensure quality is high
Perform testing on simulator once converted from a 737 to a P-8 to ensure the simulator functions as per the aircraft in a Level D environment
Test previously discovered discrepancies to ensure they were in fact fixed
Write test reports
Support development teams as the SME related to Flight Operations
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Experience piloting the 737
Ability to travel domestically and internationally 25 of the time
Ability to work flexible hours, overtime and occasional weekends when necessary
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience piloting the P-8 to include Air-to-Air Refueling
Ability to test and be familiar with anti-submarine/anti-ship capabilities of the P-8 in the flight simulator.
Pilot Instructor experience in P-8A, P-3C, 737, 747, 757, 767, 777, 787, C-40, C-17, KC-135 (and other 707 variants), KC-10, C-5, C-141 or other airborne Anti Submarine Warfare (ASW) capable platform.
Experience operating and instructing in flight simulators.
Experience testing and certifying to Level D standards.
Operational experience with deployed P-8A or P-3C.
P-8 training systems experience.
Experience using P-8A Aircrew Training Devices such as WTT, PTT, OFT, MSDT, Electronic Classrooms
Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
Typical Education/Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master&43;8 years related work experience, 14 years related work experience, etc.).
