East Alton, IL, April 25, 2013 - West Star Aviation recently announced their program to aid the Community Hope Center Food Bank through their “Casual Friday” initiative at their East Alton, IL (ALN) location. Beginning April 5, any employee who would like to wear jeans on “Casual Friday” is asked to bring a canned food item for donation to the food bank.

“We have had an overwhelming amount of participation in our “Casual Friday” program over the last couple weeks,” says Rodger Renaud, General Manager, West Star Aviation, ALN. “We have already made significant donations to the Community Hope Center in Cottage Hills, IL and plan to continue that support well into the future.”

The Community Hope Center is a full service crisis emergency center with the primary purpose of helping the poor, the homeless, children and the elderly in the Illinois area. The Center is a nonprofit corporation that is solely supported by local businesses, foundations, and private donations. Community Hope Center provides diverse programs which are offered free of charge, and are designed to help families out of their crisis situations.
