FlightSafety International is pleased to announce that it will offer training for the Dassault Falcon 7X aircraft at the company’s Dallas/Fort Worth Learning Center. FlightSafety expects that training will begin in January, 2011. Pilots, maintenance technicians, flight attendants and other aviation professionals who operate and support the Falcon 7X will benefit from FlightSafety’s highly qualified and experienced instructors, comprehensive training programs, full flight simulator and MATRIX integrated training system. “We are proud to have served as a factory authorized training provider for Dassault Falcon Jet for over 40 years. The addition of the Falcon 7X training program is a clear demonstration of our mutual dedication to provide exceptional Customer service and enhance aviation safety through comprehensive training,” said Bruce Whitman, President & CEO. The new Falcon 7X aircraft simulator will be qualified to Level D and approved for training by the United States Federal Aviation Administration, Transport Canada, Joint Aviation Authorities Training Organization, European Aviation Safety Agency and the Civil Aviation Administration of China. The simulator will offer Enhanced Flight Visual System, Heads Up Guidance System, Emergency Vision Assurance System and Electronic Flight Bag. It will be compatible with the Phase II avionics software upgrades and feature FlightSafety’s electric motion and control loading technology and new VITAL X visual system. FlightSafety currently provides professional training for the Falcon 10/100, Falcon 20, Falcon 50 and 50 EX, Falcon 200, Falcon 2000, 2000DX, 2000LX, 2000EX and 2000EX EASy, Falcon 900, 900C, 900DX, 900EX and 900EX EASy aircraft. This certification of FlightSafety as an approved training organization by the DGCA in Mexico includes the agency’s validation of FlightSafety’s Part 142 single certificate issued by the United States Federal Aviation Administration. “The review by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation in Mexico of FlightSafety’s training and the resulting certification, further demonstrates the quality of our comprehensive programs and commitment to serve and support our Customers in Mexico,” said Scott Fera, Vice President Marketing. Construction of the new state of the art facility is scheduled to begin this spring and is expected to be completed in 2011. The building will include a dedicated area for component manufacturing, final assembly, and shipping and receiving. It has been designed in accordance with the Lean Manufacturing Flow process to ensure that the flight simulators and other advanced training devices the company builds are produced efficiently and with the high quality FlightSafety is recognized for the world over. It will also include areas for engineering, Customer service and logistics support as well as Teammate offices and service areas. The entire facility will be designed and built to conserve energy and to provide an efficient and productive work environment. The Bombardier Dash 8 100/ Q300 aircraft simulator has been qualified by the South African Civil Aviation Authority. The Hawker Beechcraft 1900D has been qualified by the SACAA and has received European Aviation Safety Agency qualification by the Direction Générale de l‘ Aviation Civile of France. “We are pleased to increase our support for our Customers who operate regional aircraft in South Africa and the surrounding area,” said Bruce Whitman, President & CEO. “The establishment of a facility in Johannesburg and qualification of our Hawker Beechcraft 1900D and Bombardier Dash 8 100/Q300 simulators demonstrates our ability and desire to support aviation in the region and our growing presence around the world.” FlightSafety was named as the factory authorized training provider for Dash series aircraft in 1985.
