Inspector - Receiving

Contract Position
$25.91/Hour

Responsibilities:
- Perform manual and clerical tasks related to receiving materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Utilize computers to enter transactions, validate information, and maintain databases.
- Unpack and inspect items received, verifying completeness against bills of lading and invoices.
- Document and report damaged, excess, or misdirected goods and notify appropriate departments.
- Route materials to inspection, storage, or other destinations and operate mobile equipment for material movement.
- Respond to inquiries regarding the status of rejected or received goods.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- Experience in inspection of parts within a similar industry.
- Familiarity with tools used in inspection, such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM (coordinate measuring machines)
