A&P Mechanic

Job Description:

Performs 50-hour, 100 hour, annual, progressive inspections, engine removal/install and repairs of a fleet of Part 91 Citabria, 172 and 182 aircraft used for gas and oil pipeline patrol along with methane detection sensors throughout California and Texas areas, some travel is required.
Research and comply with FAA Airworthiness Directives and regulatory requirements.
Determine time-life limits for aircraft components.
Perform preventative maintenance and discrepancies (unscheduled maintenance). Including correcting discrepancies, troubleshooting and repair, reading and interpreting schematics, and determining correct manufacturer part numbers for proper replacement.
Ensures compliance with all Crystal Aircraft Maintenance standard operating procedures.
Reviews work orders, aircraft records, and related documents for completeness and accuracy.
Perform minor and major alterations and repairs as assigned.
May assist with maintenance at off-site locations. Per Diem is available.
Assist in providing time estimates.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

Handle objects up to 70 pounds regularly.
A&P Required. IA preferred but not required.
Must have own tools.
U.S. Citizen.
Must possess a valid US drivers license and insurance.
Open to any aircraft platform experience.
Knowledgeable on aircraft systems and able to troubleshoot components.
