SENIOR MANAGER SUPPLY CHAIN
Senior Manager Supply Chain is responsible for ensuring the supply of parts, equipment and tooling for the continued maintenance of the fleet.
Duties include but not limited to:
- Actively develop and implement strategies to improve service levels, lower overall maintenance costs, and increase internal efficiencies.
- Control the planning, procurement, storage and supply of entire aircraft parts, components, material and equipment.
- Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure that supply chain activities are in compliance with QCAA and EASA regulations.
- In charge of Technical procurement/ tender processes and execution to establish third party contracts.
- Develop in-depth process for order delivery scheduling and transportation to ensure reduction of logistics costs and improve supply chain performance.
- Organizes the main stores functions of ordering, customs clearance, receipt, inspection, storage, issue, salvage handling, scrap procedure, dispatch and safe custody of materials in an effective manner.
- Procurement and dispatch of AOG spares.
- Manage the component repair cycle program ensuring high component availability.
- Responsible for ensuring that all logistical activities are correctly certified and that all records are retained and stored safely for the designated statutory period.
- Regularly evaluate the department or team’s objectives, plans, procedures and practices, and makes appropriate changes if needed.
Qualifications
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Aviation or Supply Chain Management.
Experience & Skills
- Minimum 15 years airline experience in different positions out of which minimum 5 years in management function.
- Previous experience in Vendor Management with aircraft manufacturers, airlines or MRO
- Contract management experience.
- Knowledge in repairs, purchasing, sales, warehouse, and warranties.
- Knowledge in Logistics and Supply Chain
