The Avionics Manager is responsible for overseeing all functions within the Avionics Department, ensuring adherence to company standards, goals, and objectives. This role requires managing a team, maintaining compliance with FAA regulations, and collaborating with senior leadership to drive operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and support Avionics personnel, including designers, supervisors, leads, and technicians.
• Monitor and maintain a positive and productive organizational climate.
• Provide financial oversight, ensuring cost efficiency and business performance improvement.
• Develop and implement strategic goals, objectives, and work standards.
• Address customer and team inquiries or complaints promptly and effectively.
• Ensure compliance with FAA, safety, and security standards.
• Oversee staff selection, training, and performance management.
• Inspect work quality, prepare reports, and support cross-departmental objectives.
• Generate continuous avionics revenue and participate in sales efforts.
• Ensure accurate quoting of labor and material requirements.
• Notify senior management of any incidents or irregular operations.

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• A&P License preferred; ability to obtain Repairman’s Certificate required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with MISA and Microsoft Access preferred.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills; ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Valid Driver’s License, ability to travel, drug screen, background check, and culture fit assessment.
