Minimum Education and Experience
- High school diploma or Certificate of High School Equivalency (G.E.D. - demonstrated satisfactory performance in the General Educational Development Testing Program) with five (5) years’ related experience and/or training.
- Related experience and/or training in a vocational technical or trade school, preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience could be in either a civilian or military environment.
- Minimum of five (5) years as an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) technician, with at least two (2) years’ experience with turbine engines, may be required.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES OR REGISTRATIONS:
- A&P certification preferred

- Knowledge of aviation maintenance safety standards and practices
- Knowledge of common FlightSafety standards and applicable aviation regulations
- Ability to manage classes and teach effectively
- First-level facilitation skills
- First-level customer service skills
- Ability to be coachable and receive feedback to support development
