Job Description:
  • Airframe and Powerplant Certificate with Inspector Authorization
  • Experience Managing Aircraft Maintenance Shop
  • Jet, Turbine, and Piston engine experience
  • Experience with jet phase inspections
  • Experience with Quantum MX or similar management software
  • Experience with piston engine overhauls (Continental required, Lycoming preferred)

DUTIES:

Management

  • Scheduling - Primary responsibility for scheduling of all work into both locations and ensuring jobs are completed on time and on budget.
  • Quantum MX - Primary supervision/responsibility for all items entered into Quantum MX for work authorizations, work orders, customer reports, and final invoicing.

Work Authorizations

  • Ensure the customer signs work authorization with all squawks and exclusions prior to acceptance of aircraft
  • Ensure any additional squawks /tasks are added to supplemental authorizations

Work Orders 

  • Ensure crew completes work orders and all sign-offs log book entries prior to customer delivery

Return to Service

  • Ensure payment prior to the aircraft leaving the premises.

Procurement

Purchasing

  • Primary responsibility for managing all purchases made by the company for any purpose.
  • Proper coding of expenditures made by Amex, Bank Purchasing Card, Credit Line, or Company Check to tie all purchases to work orders or company accounts.
  • Parts and Supplies - Locate/procure all parts as needed for maintenance and/or avionics jobs.

Overhauls

  • Manage piston engine overhauls for Conway Completions project aircraft.
  • Sign off on return to service for all overhauled engines.

Customer Service

  • Primary point of contact for customers.
  • Phone follow-up with customers for payment and after-action feedback.
  • Coordinate with Management for any customer service escalations.
Salary Range: 65000-90000
