Job Description:
The Director of Revenue Management (Floating Fleet) is responsible for maximizing the unit economics and utilization of Jet Edge’s heavy jet floating fleet. The Director of RM will interface and collaborate with numerous departments including but not limited to: Maintenance Control and Planning, Operations, Finance, In-flight Services and others to lead Jet Edge’s top line performance. A Director of RM has a deep understanding of the private aircraft charter market as it relates to pricing, aircraft knowledge, travel patterns + trends, and basic supply + demand integration.

The Director of Revenue Management’s priority is ensuring success of Jet Edge’s floating fleet by setting pricing consistent with direction and targets set by the Vice President of Revenue Strategy and managing supply through integration with Operations and Maintenance Control.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to judge and communicate charter market supply and demand trends
  • Understand dynamic pricing principles as they relate to the heavy jet charter marketplace
  • Interpret data to accurately price assets within monthly unit revenue and utilization targets
  • Efficiently schedule and optimize the floating aircraft schedule
  • Manage client requested changes to itineraries and reoptimize around change
  • Work with aircraft Owners and ensure aircraft scheduling within set guidelines and parameters customized around unique clients
  • Understand the basics of FAA regulation as it relates to maintenance on Gulfstream and Embraer aircraft
  • Operate independently within guidelines as set by management as well as in a team environment
  • Ability to remain calm under high pressure and stress
  • Provide exceptional customer service to high touch individuals
  • Maintain a high degree of professionalism at all times
  • High attention to detail and process
  • Have a solution-based attitude and be able to creatively problem solve
  • Ability to negotiate unemotionally and effectively
  • Strong multitasking skills and prioritization
  • Understand dynamic pricing as it relates to Jet Edge KPI’s and goals set by management
  • Work efficiently and effectively with all Jet Edges systems including Flight Operations System (FOS), Avinode, SharePoint, Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Salesforce, DocuSign and others.
  • Understand the fundamentals of flight operations and regulations within the National Airspace System
  • Understand costs, permits, limitations and other factors in international flight operations
  • Build and maintain relationships within the Part 135 brokerage community
  • Work closely with the Director of Maintenance Control to flex aircraft maintenance events around demand
  • Other projects and tasking as assigned by Management
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Aviation or Business highly preferred
  • Minimum 4 years’ experience working in Part 135 charter operations
  • Dispatch certificate or PPL preferred
  • Previous experience in floating fleet aircraft models highly desired
